Who we are
Skouted ("we", "us") operates skouted.app, an editorial board of job listings surfaced from public Instagram posts and direct messages sent to @skoutedjobs.
What we collect
- Instagram content we receive from Meta's Graph API: public posts/stories from @skoutedjobs, direct messages sent to @skoutedjobs (including image attachments and shared posts), and mentions of @skoutedjobs.
- Sender identifiers from Meta webhooks (Instagram scoped user IDs and usernames) so we can credit the scout who surfaced a role.
- Basic site analytics (page views, referrers) — no personal accounts are required to browse Skouted.
How we use it
We pass image attachments through an AI model (Google Gemini via the Lovable AI Gateway) to extract structured job details (role, company, location, application link). Extracted listings are published on skouted.app. We do not sell personal data and we do not use DM contents for advertising.
Where it's stored
Data is stored in Lovable Cloud (managed Supabase / Postgres) and the underlying object storage. AI processing is performed by the Lovable AI Gateway. We retain raw webhook payloads for debugging for up to 90 days.
Your rights
You can request deletion of any content you sent us at any time — see our Data Deletion page. EU/UK users have rights under GDPR including access, correction, and erasure.
